The Leadership of the ACT3 Cohort
Dr. John H. Armstrong is the teacher and leader of the ACT3 Cohort. John is the founder and president of ACT3 Network, a ministry for empowering leaders and churches for unity in Christ’s mission. He is former pastor and church-planter, of more than twenty years experience, and the author/editor of 12 books. The cohort is based on his book, Your Church Is Too Small: Why Unity in Christ’s Mission Is Vital to the Future of the Church (Zondervan, 2010), and The Unity Factor: One Lord, One Church, One Mission (The Christian’s Library Press, 2011).
John is has been a professor of evangelism & mission at various graduate schools, seminaries and colleges and has been a guest lecturer. He is also a seminar and conference speaker throughout the United States and abroad. In addition, he consults church leaders and missions in developing a healthy expression of mission in exile.

He has two married children and two grandchildren. The only child who remains in his home is the Armstrong’s miniature dachshund Gwinnie Joy.
