1LoveWake is a grass-roots movement of Christians from several churches working together to love our neighbors as ourselves in the Triangle, NC. Most of us love ourselves and our own. And we try to love the world in an abstract sense. But few of us love our neighbors as Jesus commanded. And the Apostle John said we don’t really love God if we don’t love our neighbors. 1LoveWake offers a simple, practical model for loving our neighbors as ourselves:
PRAYER: Pray for your neighbors! SHARE: Share life with your neighbors! CARE: Care for each other as needs arise! DARE: Dare to risk and sacrifice for each other as appropriate!
This is love.
